Gigi moved to Australia in 2004.

It was here that her interest in sweets began. She completed her education with an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality including Commercial Cookery III.

ByGigi produces magical high quality cakes where sweets are treated with care.

She’s been able to showcase skills acquired at Sydney’s Faye Cahill Cake Design School, Savour Patisserie School in Melbourne and Barry Callebaut Chocolate Academy of Chicago-USA learning how to design masterpiece Wedding Cakes

Her combination of elegance, finesse, skill and creativity has been moulded by Sydney’s best fine dining restaurants.

Working alongside pastry Masterchef Anna Polyviou, at the five star hotel Shangri-la SYD and The Bathers Pavillion where valuable experience was gained.

Her skills were also honed at Manta and Jonah’s at Whale Beach.

Last year she had another exciting step in her career.

She was invited to be the coach of Zumbo’s Just Desserts cooking show on channel 7 guiding the home bakers on the floor of the dessert factory.

ByGigi cakes is excited to show everybody ways a chef can handle certain ingredients and transform them into art.

Flavour besides beauty.

Born into a family of architects, sketching and creating  cakes came easy to her.

The passion is to search for the desire of clients wedding cakes always looking to surprise their expectations.
